Johannes Moser was born in Munich on June 14, 1979; Johannes has been captivating audiences globally with his profound musicality and dynamic performances. From a young age, his passion for the cello led him to study under the esteemed David Geringas, starting in 1997 and marking the beginning of a remarkable journey in classical music.

Johannes Moser's illustrious career is highlighted by his collaborations with the world's leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic, and London Symphony Orchestra, to name just a few. His versatility as a musician is further showcased through his engagements with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Hong Kong Philharmonic, and the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, among others. His ability to blend seamlessly with various ensembles has made him a sought-after performer on the international stage.

Beyond his solo career, Johannes is a passionate chamber musician, having shared the stage with luminaries such as Joshua Bell, Emanuel Ax, and Midori. His performances at prestigious festivals like Verbier, Gstaad, and the Colorado Music Festival speak to his wide-ranging appeal and dedication to his craft.
